This is the place where I want to share dreams and visions. As well for my love of needlework as for all things vintage and antique : fabrics, furniture, dresses, etc. etc. For photography and other visual arts. For music and cooking. For beauty in your lives.

Besides being designer for embroidery designs under the name of "CHÂTELAINE" and producing my own line of extravagant jewellery as the "GESCHMEIDE-MEISTERIN" (The Mistress of Jewellery), there are so many things which are of interest for me, that I always wanted to have a place where to post bits and pictures to show and tell, and perhaps find like-minded "out there" to talk about our mutual passions for all things textile, antique, vintage and just beautiful....

Thanksgiving 2011 - a Freebie for you

My Thank-You to all stitchers near and far.
I hope you will enjoy some  hours of leisure and pleasure whilst stitching this little picture.
It is mostly cross stitch with some backstitching, a leafy Blackwork pattern for the border, a few beads and some easy Special Stitches.

You can further personalize it with a date if you wish... or initials....
